Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death!

The National Security and Homeland Security Presidential Directive , signed on May 9, 2007 declares that in the event of a “catastrophic event”, George W. Bush can become what is best described as “a dictator”:

“The President shall lead the activities of the Federal Government for ensuring constitutional government.”

This directive, completely unnoticed by the media, and given no scrutiny by Congress, literally gives the White House unprecedented dictatorial power over the government and the country, bypassing the US Congress and obliterating the separation of powers. The directive also placed the Secretary of Homeland Security in charge of domestic “security”.

For any of you who know me, you will know that for the past year almost I have become increasingly worried about this very kind of legislation. This is just one of many by the way. “Patriot” Act says we have no more privacy rights and the government can spy on us when ever they want and go get our medical records and library history.

Military Commissions Act says that the Executive Branch (NOT THE JUDICIAL BRANCH) can seize anyone who is either a suspected terrorist or who is hindering the war on terror (that’s me on the side of the road with a Ron Paul sign folks) and imprison them with out Habeous Corpus.

** If you don’t know what that is, it’s the system of judging which our entire judicial process is built upon. It’s not something new to America. They were living with this for hundreds of years before our Constitution. It’s what says that we must be tried publicly, know what we are bing accused of, that we have a right to a public trial…all that good stuff. YEAH….THAT’S GONE! READ IT)**

So…..the War on Terror is a shame….you can’t have a war on an improper noun. That’s why the war on drugs has only made the drug situation worse. Just like a “War on Terror” will do nothing to stop terrorism. The more we stay over in the Middle East stirring up the bee hive, the more the bees will want to come over and sting us. Simple and easy to understand right? NO! Obviously Ron Paul’s the only one who can get it.

So…give me Liberty or Give me Death! That’s what I’m living by….and according to that motto I must also say….IMPEACH BUSH! He’s done FAR MORE to deserve impeachment and criminal prosecution (for relentlessly violating our Constitution and God given rights there in) than Nixon ever did! He’s a monster, straight up!

Ya’ll better start coming correct and realize what the F is going on in the world!

On another note…..Heather Ligler likes to think she admires Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. more than anyone else. Well she doesn’t…I do! I was at the MLK day march in Atlanta. Was Heather Ligler? I don’t think so…..my point and case!
