The Volcano in Hawaii is going to blow!

I know this because

a> about six months ago we had a big monster earthquake

b> since then we have like two hundred little ones a day or something

c> the other day there was a another big earthquke

HERE’S WHERE IT GETS TRICKY…..

d> the other weather on the island is getting backwards. Kona is wet and Hilo is dry….yes this applies somehow. I don’t know how, but I’m sure it does.

HERE’S WHERE IT GETS REALLY TRICKY…..

e> at the Volcano one can do down to the ocean and view red hot lava pouring into the ocean from a continous lava tube (THIS IS NORMAL). BUT NOW…. You can’t do this because that lava tube has been cut off by another, new lava tube. In fact they shut down the entire road to go down that side of the Volcano because it’s so unstable.

SO my conclusion is this…..

If the new lava tube, which is extremely usntable is some how closed off and can not vent then what happens? Pressure builds, pressure builds, and pressure builds and……. BOOMB>>>>>>> We’re Fed-UP!

Holy Crap! The internet will be the death of us. This is my friend Josh’s set up. A brand new MAC BOOX PRO and G5. Does he need all this…. well….. maybe, maybe not. But alls I know is, if Karma really does exist than he’d better do good for the people around him or else he’s in for  a bitch of a time. Lucky we are. I know…..

Oh I Wish I Was In Dixie

Maybe it’s because my mother’s coming to Hawaii, but for some reason today I’m feeling uncommonly nostalgic about my home in Georgia. I was singing Dixie and reminiscing about getting punched in the face by an African American girl in 9th grade study skills.

Telling people about how my grandmother would go down to the Strand Theater wearing a big hoop skirt and watch “Gone With The Wind” cause it played for like 30 years where I’m from.

I really am grateful for having grown up in what many people would call an “idealistic” world. A town where every one knows each other and each other’s “goings on”.

But the sad reality is that these worlds are fading. They will not survive in our modern landscape of disconnection and restlessness. The Marietta, and The South I knew as a child will be gone. But this change is not just to my homeland. The entire world is changing and groaning, and no one will be the same for long.

This is a KFC in Marietta, where I’m from.

No REVVER!!!!!!

Well word press doesn’t have Revver compatibility ,which is VERY disappointing, but any who I’ll get my shit out there either way. Ths is the first short film I ever made. It’s going on a year now, and since then it’s been real good to me. Paste Magazine Rock n Reel fest Audience Runner Up. Big Island Film Festival Best Student Short. and a slew of other acceptances in film festivals. So I’m proud of it. It’s not any kind of social commentary, and in fact it’s kind of just like mindless entertainment, but if you watch it I know you’ll enjoy………
